Being a member of the British Women’s Racing Drivers Club since my very early racing days I am honoured to have been awarded the ‘Chairman’s Cup’ by the British Women’s Racing Drivers Club at the 50th presentation lunch in the BRDC suite at Silverstone in 2012. The award is to show recognition by the committee and chairman throughout my many seasons of racing, but especially focusing on the year which it is awarded for. The club have done a lot for me by providing me with connections and opportunities which I am extremely grateful for and hope for many more years to come with the club’s support.
The BWRDC also run the GoldStars award which I was delighted to recieve in 2013 from ex-Formula 1 and sports car racer, and President of the British Racing Drivers Club (BRDC) Derek Warwick. Past winners include SPEED series competitor Sarah Reader and GP3 driver Alice Powell. The GoldStars Award comes complete with mentoring from ex-DTM and newly announced Williams Formula 1 test driver Susie Wolff! To find out more information about the GoldStars award click here.
